Extreme Gerrymander in Texas
​As you know, Texas Democrats brought national attention to Trump asking for five more seats...and other states are now acting to counter it. The Trump map is already in court as it violates Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and the Fourteenth Amendment.

But I want you to know how the Trump map will impact our blue county. Today, we have five Congressional seats, with 3 Democratic seats and 2 Republican seats. In the new maps we'll only have four Congressional seats with 1 Democratic and 3 projected Republican seats. Yes, our Democratic county will have overwhelming Republican Congressional representation unless we start now to win back CD21, 23 and 35.

Below are the newly approved districts across the state.  You can see five little dots of blue in a sea of red.  These Texas Congressional maps can be overcome with a great voter turnout, starting in Bexar County.
