Coming Soon! The Democratic Party Primary Elections are Fast Approaching! (2026 - 2028 Term)
On March 3, 2026, Democratic voters will elect a county chair and over seven hundred precinct chairs for the 2026–2028 term. The winners will form the Bexar County Democratic Party's County Executive Committee (CEC).
To qualify for the primary ballot, eligible individuals must apply to BCDP’s Primary Committee. The file forms will SOON be available on this PAGE. Applications are required to be notarized.
The filing period begins on September 9, 2025, and ends on December 8, 2025.
Candidates should check eligibility and deadlines to submit applications properly and on time. The Primary Committee is committed to assisting prospective candidates throughout the process, including providing guidance on notarization and application details. Free notarization will be available at the BCDP office during the filing period and at the in-person CEC meeting on September 9th, at Woodlawn Pointe, 702 Donaldson, San Antonio, TX, 78201 - MAP.
